The Maryland Business Council focuses its activities at the town, city, county, and state government levels on the public policy issues that have a direct impact on businesses.  Our goal is to create a business climate in Maryland that supports their growth and success by addressing such matters as health care, government regulation, taxation, zoning and land use, licensing and permits, and workforce issues. 

Through the power of partnership, the Maryland Business Council serves as a fulcrum on regulatory and legislative issues, by speaking loudly with one voice for those businesses that otherwise aren’t being heard.
